Well Folks the New Year is here! 2009 has already been a blast and we’re only 6 days into it! Already there are video’s, art openings and LOTS OF FUN SHOWS! So here’s what I’ve got for you this month!

I’m excited to join Shelly the Singing Siren and her Inter-Arts Variety show (January 17 8pm The Zipper Factory), continue teaching Flirting With Burlesque at the New York School of Burlesque every other week(January 8th and January 22 7pm at 440 Studios) and a lot sad to send Pinkie Special off into the sunset with her farewell show La Vie En Pinkie(January 24th 10pm The Slipper Rom)

Liz Renay was a Super Star Burlesque Performer, Artist, Writer and self proclaimed “The Most Beautiful Woman in the World.” She Was one of the Burlesque stars I met at The Burlesque Hall of Fame Pageant and Reunion. She is celebrated with an art exhibit “How to Attract Men” at the Deitch Gallery January 9th-January 31st and a Burlesque Tribute Show “I Love Me” January 11th at 9pm at the Santos Party House. I hope you can join the celebration of her life and work!
